Getting a Stomp tomorrow. I really really hope it will come updated because I read about how stressful it is to install all of the drivers and updates and I myself absolutely hate computers. Am hopeful I will be able to take it somewhere to get it updated if it doesn’t arrive up to date. I am also hopeful I can use the line outs to record it save using USB and DAWs. I have an interface that I use for all my synth stuff so hopefully I can record this in the same way.

I just commented on someone else's channel that I have a Squier Franken-Jazz Bass I leave at my rehearsal studio. The thing sounds and feels great. It has a Vintage Modern Jazz Bass body with a maple Paranormal Jazz Bass neck. I replaced the pickups with a set of DiMarzio Model J pickups, installed new electronics, and put brass saddles on it. I also put a set of Gibson style Top Hat Volume and Tone nobs on it. I was actually trying to go for that 1970's Made in Japan Fender copy look. High-end guitars are great however, you don't need a high-end guitar to play great.

How are you adding the "mixer" block? I can't seem to figure that out

what i do not understand, i have a helix, i have had an xr18 and i now have a cq20b, and it sounds a fair bit better through that, i have ekx1p speakers, so pretty good speakers, i have a dbx pa 2 driverack which again adds so much to the sound, but it will never sound like as good as it seems to sound direct to an audio interface....why is that? its so thick and dynamic through audio interfaces, why does it not sound the same through a pa!! whhhyy.

I just bought a whole big auction lot with many Squier guitars/basses in it. Although I have more luxurious instruments here in my shop... I was able to get each of them setup and playing well for the next guy. For youth to learn on... or for someone who wants to try guitar/bass as a rookie... it's a very usable tool.

The amp used by meshuggah from the pod era is the big bottom, fairly usable still nowaday (you can check buster odeholm use tath amp for vildjharta tone) and the badonk is the newest version of it. Meshuggah used it on catch 33. Another thing.... In every meshuggah tone video you can see people crank the mid in the amp, this is the first video where I see them scooped... Had to try

Thank you for your review, and I do like Squier, and I have had a few different Classic Vibe Precision and Jazz basses, and I have changed out pickup’s, Capacitors, potentiometers etc. I ended up selling them because I didn’t like the color they had to offer. I would buy it and try to convince myself that I was just fine with the color, but that is the the furthest thing from the truth. What a crook of crap. I was full of my own sh#t! Anyway I can ramble on forever. I am officially worse than my mother! God bless her for putting up with me. I am pretty sure I am going to buy a Jaguar w/ the burst. I already have a Fender Jaguar, but I don’t have that pickup configuration or the concentric volume and tone potentiometers. Gorgeous bass!

I know a guy whos played with Aretha Franklin, Sting etc. His go to comfort bass is a Squire Precison. I have a Squire Jazz that cost me £200 Dont need to spend over 3000 again.

Just came over from your other video with the green/blue T body with Warmoth neck. This 1 looks really sweet. I'm in love with partscaster because it's just easier getting pieces and making what I like. Have a few Fender Squires/Starcaster (yikes) . Did 2 and about to make my 3rd but no baritone mods. Looking to rectify that. Thank you bro

I was a union stagehand on the Las Vegas Strip19 years ago. I set up the stage for Crosby Stills & Nash for a show (Crosby had a Dumble!) and asked their guitar tech what guitars they were using. Squiers with Lindy Fralin pickups.

I have several 2k+ dollar basses, including a USA Jazz, Warwick Thumb, Custom made graphite neck (Jazz bass style). One day at the music shop picked up a Squire 50s precision as wall art for under 200 bucks. I used it to do some jamming at a friends place and was so impressed with the neck feel, that I kept working with it... I switched the pickup with a 50's Seymour Duncan, set it up good, and It's now my number 1 recording and playing bass... The tone is crazy good.

Just purchased it, and really like how dynamic is it and at the same time pushes you to carve out that gnarlyness from base. Tried it on squier precission and gl l-2500, and humbuckers on gl gives me a propper results! Anyway thnx for awesome preset!

I am so blessed. I have an Arcade poly'd roasted maple neck on a Fender "Hendrix" body (HSH), an all Warmoth VR Flying V (HSH), an all Warmoth Diamondback (HH) with Dimarzio Super Distortions and a guitar synth in it, a Harley Benton Prince Body with a Warmoth Tele neck (SSS) - and I still have more irons in the fire including wanting to finally get a Baritone conversion for a Jazzmaster body I have laying around though tune it like a Bass VI. The quality of Warmoth is top notch and as long as I'm alive and playing I'll likely always look to them first for new projects. I had a situation years ago where I spent SERIOUSLY stupid money on a customer instrument (one I'm still paying off) when I was disappointed in what I received. Typically if it's far out and I can't make it with Warmoth I question if I need it. There just isn't any reason for most people to buy something stupid and uncertain when you can get ball park with Warmoth and have a lifetime player.

I have a 2011 VM Special Jaguar Bass, also black, looks the exact same. Only thing I don't like is the boost circuit. I don't like having to put batteries in my guitars. I am thinking of modifying it to remove it.

Thanks for the video! I changed it a little, instead I boosted the depth and got the bass low. I swapped the exact settings compared to yours. Personally I like it a bit more like that, because I think the low end is somewhat tighter. And I used an Own Hammer IR and have the Djent High Gain and the V version.

Tried this out really quickly with a Deluxe Reverb model in the Stomp, York Dexlue Reverb IR, 170 PowerStage into a closed back 1x12 and it sounded amazing.

Ive had a squire 5 string jazz bass for 4 years and its outlasted my other basses in terms of use and tone

When you build a PC, you buy a bunch of parts, and they all click into place. We still refer to this as building a PC. Using this same logic I can conclude that buying a bunch of guitar parts and putting them together does qualify for building a guitar. I might be over analyzing it.

Doesn’t sound bad but it also doesn’t sound like a dimed hm2 to me.

That low end isn't thin. It's actually incredible in my opinion. It's thigh and powerful. For the Dirty path, there is some kind of noise in the background that sound like a radio that is not tuned to a channel and without a mix or not in a band situation, annoy me a little bit, but at the same time, the front end of the that dirty path sound really really killer.

Hi Nick, Huge fan. I am wondering if this will work well with the line 6 Variax shuriken that is physically tuned to drop D, but digitally in a low tuning, I'm sure you are familiar with how the variax works. Thoughts?
